If you are looking for an HONEST repair shop. This is it. They do no more than what's really needed, and if there's anything else to be done, they will expain it to you and show you what the issue is BEFORE going any further with repairs.

I am very pleased with my service at Mr. Transmission. I had visited them once before and they repaired my problem for no charge. This time, they told me what to expect and called to tell me it was another problem and would I allow them to repair it. I sure did and the service and price was excellent. They could have told me the original problem was the source of trouble, however, they searched it out and found the real problem. Actually, at a good savings for me. I will recommend them to friends and neighbors and will use them again for my service. Thanks for the honesty and integrity of the Mr. Transmission, I trust them with my car.

Don't ever come here there CROOKS! There so nice and friendly at first until you come back cause they ripped you off.This is the worst place to ever get a transmission. I bought a car from a friend the trans. Went out so they over hauled it. With a warranty. Got it back drove about five miles and started acting up, they towed it said they would have to look at it. They said they'd have to put another transmission in it. So went back in shop got it back after about 3 weeks. Drove it about a mile down the road had to call them to again. By then I was really upset. Got it back the next day they said everything was fine about a week later it died in the middle of traffic with my children, was able to restart it. Drove it back up there, the manager who gladly took my 2300 said that's what I paid for. Since they were losing money from buying from a junk yard to fix my car they pretty much didn't want to fix it anymore since they didn't do it right from the start. They don't care about your safety! My husband was driving and the car died from the transmission and was hit from behind.

Our response to your review was delayed due to the fact that we had to dig up the customer documentation out of our archived records as it has been 2 YEARS since you were last at our shop. Considering this happened 2 years ago, we believe there must be some confusion on your repairs and the statements in your review are misleading. You chose a used transmission, not a transmission rebuilt by Mr. Transmission. If you will recall, we presented you with 3 options for the repair of your vehicle; a transmission overhaul, a re-manufactured transmission, or a used transmission. You chose the least expensive option which was a used transmission with a 6 month parts only warranty despite our concerns concerning the obvious risks associated with a used transmission. After the first used transmission failed, you chose the option of a second used transmission with a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty on parts and labor. Please note that we replaced the first used transmission at no charge despite having a 6 month parts only warranty. A $450 value for free. You only paid for the higher cost of the 2nd used transmission with the upgraded warranty. We are sorry your vehicle engine died and this caused your vehicle to be rear ended. Transmission failure generally does not cause the engine to die. We hope no one was hurt and hope that the driver of the other vehicle received the appropriate citations. We cannot imagine what has happened to your vehicle during the previous 2 YEARS. We can only assume that the vehicle was very poorly maintained throughout this time period after seeing the poor condition of the vehicle when you first brought it to our shop.
